1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between WedPage (Sole proprietorship), which operates WedPage at https://wedpage.in, and you. By creating an account, buying a template, or publishing an invitation you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What the service is

WedPage lets you build and publish an online wedding invitation, invite guests to it, collect responses, and manage the things that follow from that — households, ceremonies, seating, tasks, budget, photographs and gifts. Your invitation is published at a link you can share, and optionally on a domain you buy through us.

We may add, change or withdraw individual features. Where a change removes something you paid for, section 8 applies.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by family members or planners you invite into it.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at support@wedpage.in if you think someone else has it.
  • One person, one account. Seats for family members and planners are added from inside your workspace, not by sharing a login.

4. Your guests' data — the important part

When you upload a guest list, you decide whose details are collected and why. In data-protection terms you are the controller of that data and we are the processor: we hold and process it on your instructions, to run the service for you, and for nothing else.

Concretely, that means:

  • You confirm you have a lawful reason to hold each guest's details and to invite them.
  • We do not sell guest data, market to your guests, or use their details to train anything.
  • If a guest asks us to see, correct or delete their data, we will route the request to you, because it is your list. We give you the tools to answer it — see your data rights.
  • Some details your guests give — dietary requirements, allergies, accessibility needs — can reveal their health or religion. Collect them only where you need them, and see the guest privacy notice for how we handle them.
  • Our commitments as processor are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and serves as our data processing agreement.

5. What you may publish

You keep ownership of everything you upload — photographs, names, text. You grant us only the permission we need to host it, resize it, deliver it to the guests you invite, and back it up.

You may not use WedPage to publish anything unlawful, anything you do not have the rights to, or anything covered by our acceptable use section below. We can take down content that breaches it, and will tell you why.

6. Templates and designs

Buying a template gives you a personal licence to use that design for your own wedding, for as long as your invitation is live. It does not transfer ownership of the design.

You may not:

  • resell, redistribute, sub-licence or white-label the design;
  • reuse it for a second event, or for a client, unless you hold a planner licence that says otherwise;
  • copy the design out of WedPage to host it elsewhere.

Everything you put into the template — your photographs, names and words — stays entirely yours, and none of the above applies to it.

7. Music and third-party content

An invitation can carry music. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you add. Use music you own, music licensed for this purpose, or the royalty-free tracks we provide. A copyright claim against a track you chose is yours to answer, and we will take the track down when we receive one.

One practical limitation, so it is not a surprise: web browsers block audio from starting on its own. Every modern browser requires the person viewing a page to tap or click before sound will play. Your invitation is built to handle this gracefully, but we cannot make a guest's phone play music before they touch the screen, and this is not a fault we can fix.

8. What you get, and what we support

The deliverable is a live web address — a link you share. It is not a PDF, an image, a video file, or anything downloadable, and it cannot be exported to be hosted somewhere else. It stays live for the period you paid for, and you can keep editing it after publishing.

Support is a best-effort service over email and WhatsApp during Monday to Saturday, 10:00-19:00 IST. We help you use the product and we fix our own faults. We do not build or edit your invitation for you unless you have bought a service that says we will.

WedPage branding on your invitation may not be removed or obscured except on plans that explicitly include removing it.

9. Things outside our control

Some of what an invitation depends on is not ours. We will do what we can, but we cannot promise outcomes for:

  • Message delivery — WhatsApp, SMS and email are delivered by carriers and platforms with their own rules, spam filtering and rate limits.
  • Domain registration — availability, transfer and DNS propagation are the registrar's, and can take up to 24 hours.
  • A guest's own device — old browsers, blocked JavaScript, data saver modes, and the audio restriction above.

10. How long your invitation stays live, and what happens to the replies

This is the question every one of our competitors leaves unanswered, so we will answer it plainly.

Your invitation stays reachable at its linkUntil 12 months after your last wedding date
You can edit itFor that entire period, including after guests have seen it
Your guest list and RSVP repliesExportable at any time, in a spreadsheet, as often as you like
Before anything is deletedWe email you 30 days ahead, and again at 7 days
After thatThe link stops working and the data is deleted, as the Privacy Policy sets out

Two commitments in that table are worth stating on their own. Your guest data is never held hostage — the export button is there from the first day, on every plan, and it does not require asking us. And nothing disappears without warning: you get two emails before a link goes dark, not a discovery.

If you want it kept longer, ask before the period ends and we will tell you what that costs.

11. Getting the details right is yours

Dates, names, spellings, venue addresses, timings. We render exactly what you enter and we cannot check whether it is correct. Please read the preview carefully before you send, because four hundred people will read it after you do. If you spot a mistake after sending, fix it — the link updates immediately and everyone who opens it again sees the correction.

12. Payment

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees on the pricing page.
  • Payments are taken by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Paid features unlock once payment is confirmed. A failed or reversed payment locks them again.
  • Refunds are governed by the Refunds & Cancellation policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We will publish any change here with a new version number, and keep the previous version reachable. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email and inside the app before it takes effect, and ask you to accept it. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.

14. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to harm someone, or where we are required to by law — and other than where the law prevents it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

When an account closes, your invitation stops being served. Export your guest list and RSVP replies first — the button is in your dashboard, and after closure we cannot recover them for you. Data is deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.

15. What we do not promise

We work hard to keep the service up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that a guest will open your invitation.

16. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data where you had the ability to export it and did not.

17. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000, the Indian Copyright Act 1957, the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.

Before going to court, please raise the matter with our grievance officer — see grievance redressal. Most things are resolved there.

18. Acceptable use

Almost everyone will never think about this section. It exists for the rare case.

Do not

  • Upload content you do not have the rights to — photographs you did not take or licence included.
  • Publish anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexual involving minors.
  • Impersonate somebody else. WedPage is for genuine events — not for fake invitations, pranks, or as a general-purpose website builder.
  • Add people to a guest list who have asked you not to contact them, or use invitations as a route to send marketing.
  • Attempt to reach another customer's data, probe our systems, or work around usage limits.
  • Resell or redistribute a template design, or reuse a purchased design for a different event, unless your licence allows it.
  • Upload malware, or use the service to send bulk unsolicited messages.

Reporting something

If you have seen an invitation that breaches this, tell us at support@wedpage.in with the link and what is wrong. Copyright complaints should include enough detail to identify the work and confirmation that you hold the rights.

What we do

Depending on how serious it is: we ask you to fix it, we remove the specific content, or we suspend the account. Except where the law prevents it, we always tell you what we did and why, and there is always a route to reply — see grievance redressal.

We do not pre-screen content. We act when something is reported or detected.
